Presenter bio
Leah Bertrand is a sound artist and graduate student researcher in atmospheric sciences at CU Boulder/CIRES. In her scientific research, she studies the role of clouds in our changing polar regions using satellite and ground-based observations. In her art, she transmutes ecological experience into a surreal space between the real and synthetic. She performs live as Virga Delta (IG: @virga.delta).
